First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) field trips can improve the emotional well-being and learning of children aged 5 to 17 who are stuck in the hospital. Participants will wear a VR headset to visit famous landmarks and then do a hands-on science experiment. Researchers will measure their feelings of awe and knowledge before and after the experience.
