Can a vitamin boost your period pain relief?

NCT ID NCT07466342

Summary

This study tested whether adding Vitamin E to the common painkiller mefenamic acid works better for reducing menstrual pain than the painkiller alone. It involved 60 women aged 15-35 with regular, painful periods not caused by another condition. Researchers compared pain scores over two menstrual cycles to see if the vitamin combination provided stronger relief.
