First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested whether taking vitamin E along with the painkiller mefenamic acid works better for period cramps than the painkiller alone. 60 women aged 15-35 with painful periods were randomly assigned to one of two groups. Pain was measured before and after treatment using a standard pain scale. The goal was to see if the combination leads to greater pain reduction.
