NCT ID NCT06750393
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether doing barre and gym ball exercises could reduce pain and distress and improve quality of life in women with painful periods (primary dysmenorrhea). 42 women with moderate to severe period pain took part. They did 30-minute exercise sessions three times a week for 12 weeks. The results showed that adding gym ball exercises to barre exercises helped more than barre alone.
