NCT ID NCT07455656

First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a small dose of vitamin D3 and using a minor gum cutting procedure (corticision) can make teeth move faster during orthodontic treatment. Sixteen teenagers and young adults (ages 13-20) who need to have their canine teeth pulled back will receive the treatment on one side of the mouth, while the other side serves as a comparison. The goal is to see if these methods can shorten the time needed for braces.
