Summary

This study looked at how much vitamin D sulfate is in breastmilk and whether it reaches infants. Researchers collected breastmilk samples from 101 lactating mothers before and after 28 days of vitamin D supplements, and also tested infant saliva and gut contents. The goal was to understand the nutritional value of vitamin D sulfates for exclusively breastfed babies.
