Summary

This study looks at whether high-dose vitamin D and a home exercise program (walking and strength training) can prevent bone loss in women being treated for breast cancer. About 191 postmenopausal women with early-stage breast cancer are taking part. The goal is to see if these approaches, alone or together, improve bone density and physical fitness.
