Summary

This study tested whether an educational website helps people who stopped taking statins due to muscle pain make informed decisions about restarting. Nearly 900 participants were randomly assigned to use the website or receive usual care. The goal was to see if the website increased the number of people who retry and stick with statin therapy to lower cholesterol and heart disease risk.
