Virtual reality goggles could replace extra painkillers during kidney dialysis surgery

Summary

This study tests whether wearing a virtual reality headset during arteriovenous fistula (AVF) surgery can lower pain, anxiety, and the need for anesthesia. About 64 adults with end-stage kidney disease who need this surgery will take part. The goal is to see if VR makes the experience better for patients and doctors.
