First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether using a virtual reality (VR) headset can reduce anxiety before total knee replacement surgery and lessen pain afterward. 64 patients will watch educational videos about the operating room before surgery and relaxing nature videos after surgery. The goal is to see if VR can improve emotional and physical recovery without medication.
