Summary
This study looks at whether using immersive virtual reality (VR) for exercise can help people with mild-to-moderate frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) feel less pain, move better, sleep more soundly, and think more clearly. Researchers will compare VR-based therapy combined with standard care (education and home exercises) to standard care alone in 36 adults aged 18–64 who are new to physiotherapy for this condition. The goal is to see if the engaging, game-like nature of VR can boost motivation and improve outcomes beyond traditional methods.
