First seen May 30, 2026 ยท Last updated May 30, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a virtual reality program can help bone marrow transplant patients feel less distressed and improve their quality of life. About 80 adults with blood cancer who are hospitalized for a transplant will be randomly assigned to either receive the VR program plus usual care, or usual care alone. The VR program includes education, coping skills training, and self-care guidance to help patients manage the emotional challenges of treatment.
