Virtual reality games tested to boost exercise motivation in patients and healthy people
NCT ID NCT07050654
Summary
This study tested whether playing virtual reality exercise games with others (multi-player) is more motivating than playing alone (single-player). It involved 86 participants including healthy teens, and people with conditions like stroke, COPD, or cerebral palsy. Most tried both game modes in one session, while a smaller group used the multi-player system for 3 weeks to see if it improved their willingness to exercise.
