Phone-Based heart rehab tested against traditional care
NCT ID NCT05238103
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual cardiac rehabilitation program delivered via a mobile app could improve patients' health more than standard in-person rehab. It involved 259 adults who recently had a heart attack, stent placement, or heart surgery. Researchers compared how far participants could walk in six minutes and other heart health measures after 12 weeks in either the app-based program or traditional rehab.
