Virtual reality video may help patients recover confidence after colorectal surgery
NCT ID NCT07078656
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether watching a 10-minute training video through virtual reality glasses on the second day after colorectal surgery can improve patients' self-efficacy—their confidence in managing their own recovery. 66 adults aged 18–65 who had laparoscopic surgery will be split into two groups: one watches the video, the other does not. Ten days after discharge, both groups fill out a survey to measure self-efficacy.
