First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a virtual reality video training session can improve self-confidence (self-efficacy) in patients recovering from colorectal cancer surgery. About 66 adults will be split into two groups: one gets the video training on day two after surgery, the other gets standard care. Both groups will fill out a survey ten days after leaving the hospital to measure their confidence in managing their recovery.
