Summary

This study tests whether watching a short video tailored to their specific type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) helps patients better prepare their bowel for a colonoscopy. About 600 adults with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease will be randomly assigned to receive either standard instructions alone or standard instructions plus the personalized video. The goal is to see if the video leads to cleaner colons, which can improve the accuracy of the procedure.
