NCT ID NCT07246577
First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study is looking for 340 people with suspected giant cell arteritis (GCA), a condition that causes inflammation in blood vessels and is usually treated with long-term steroids. The goal is to find better ways to predict who will have relapses and to monitor the disease using ultrasound scans and new blood tests. By improving how doctors track GCA, the study hopes to make treatment more personalized and reduce side effects.
