Your phone could warn you before a mental health crisis

NCT ID NCT05023252

Summary

This study tested a smartphone app designed to help veterans with serious mental health conditions track their own well-being. The app passively collects data on phone use, movement, and sleep patterns, which may act as warning signs for worsening symptoms. Researchers aimed to see if this tool is feasible, acceptable, and safe for veterans to use, and if the data can help predict when someone might need extra support.
