First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study aims to see how well different breathing devices work in microgravity, like during spaceflight. Twelve healthy volunteers will use a special helmet or a standard oxygen mask during parabolic flights that create brief weightlessness. The goal is to find which device delivers the best airflow, helping keep astronauts safe on future missions.
