New drug cocktail aims to beat back tough blood cancers in young patients

Summary

This early-phase study tests a combination of four drugs (venetoclax, dexamethasone, bortezomib, and daratumumab) for teens and young adults aged 12 to 30 whose T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphoma has returned or not responded to prior treatment. The main goal is to check safety and side effects. Up to 18 participants will receive the treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
