First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 27, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat atrial fibrillation (AF), a common heart rhythm problem. The procedure uses short electrical pulses to isolate the veins that cause the irregular heartbeat. Twenty adults with AF will receive this treatment, and after 2-3 months, doctors will check if the veins stayed isolated. The goal is to see how well this new method works for long-term control of AF.
