First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a new device (TactiFlex SE catheter and Volt generator) that uses pulsed field ablation to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, a type of irregular heartbeat. About 188 people with symptomatic AFib that hasn't responded to medication will receive the procedure. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and effectively stops AFib episodes for at least 30 seconds.
