Scientists test if quitting vaping is easier than quitting smoking

NCT ID NCT05772845

Summary

This study aims to understand the withdrawal symptoms people experience when they stop using nicotine. Researchers will compare daily vapers to daily cigarette smokers after 24 hours of abstinence to see if one group has an easier time. The results will help identify the most challenging symptoms to target for future quit-smoking treatments. This is an observational study measuring symptoms, not a treatment trial.
