Steam power: new study tests water vapor to zap prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests a device that uses water vapor (steam) to destroy prostate cancer tissue in men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. About 400 men aged 50 and older will receive the treatment and be followed for safety and cancer control. The goal is to avoid more aggressive treatments like surgery or radiation while preserving urinary and sexual function.
