First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study is for people with a certain type of advanced colorectal cancer that has not responded well to previous treatments. Researchers want to see if adding valproic acid, a drug usually used for seizures, can make a standard cancer therapy work again. About 130 adults will be randomly assigned to receive the standard therapy alone or with valproic acid, and the study will track how long the cancer stays under control.
