15,000 patients to reveal hidden dangers of Same-Day surgery

Summary
This study follows 15,000 adults aged 45 and older who are having same-day (noncardiac) surgery. The goal is to learn how often heart problems and other complications happen after these procedures, and to build a tool that helps doctors predict which patients are at higher risk. Participants are observed for unplanned hospital visits or admissions after surgery.
