Summary

This study tested whether the drug valbenazine could improve daily life for people with tardive dyskinesia (TD), a condition causing uncontrollable movements often linked to certain mental health medications. For 24 weeks, 59 adults with TD and conditions like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder took valbenazine. Researchers measured changes in how the movements affected their ability to function, their daily activities, and their overall quality of life.
