NCT ID NCT07566910
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive device that gently stimulates the vagus nerve can reduce pain, anxiety, and improve quality of life for burn patients during dressing changes. About 96 adults with second-degree burns will be randomly assigned to receive stimulation before or during dressing, or standard care only. Researchers will measure pain, anxiety, and quality of life using standard surveys.
