New laser therapy could ease menopause vaginal symptoms

Summary
This study tests whether a vaginal laser can help relieve symptoms of menopause like dryness, burning, and pain during sex. About 50 postmenopausal women will either receive the laser treatment or a sham (fake) procedure. Researchers will use a special camera to measure changes in vaginal tissue thickness and blood flow, and also track symptom improvements through questionnaires.
