New gel could ease menopause discomfort without hormones

Summary
This study tests a new hormone-free gel for women with genitourinary syndrome of menopause, which causes vaginal dryness, pain, and other symptoms. About 80 postmenopausal women will use the gel for 8 weeks and report how their symptoms and quality of life change. The goal is to see if the gel is safe and effective.
