New gel could offer Hormone-Free relief for menopause symptoms

Summary
This study compares a new silicone gel (StrataMGT) to standard estrogen cream for treating vaginal dryness and discomfort caused by menopause. About 100 postmenopausal women will use one of the two treatments for three months. The goal is to see if the gel works as well as the cream at improving quality of life, without using hormones.
