Monthly shot vs. daily pill: which works better for veterans with opioid addiction?

Summary
This study tests whether a once-monthly injection of buprenorphine helps veterans with opioid use disorder stay in treatment and avoid opioids better than the standard daily tablet. About 952 veterans will take part for up to a year. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage this chronic condition.
