First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a biomarker test (NGAL) can help doctors better manage fluids and dialysis in children with acute kidney injury in the pediatric ICU. Researchers will follow 420 children at risk for kidney problems to see if the test helps make faster, safer treatment decisions. The goal is to improve care and avoid complications, not to cure the condition.
