New CT angle may predict stone surgery complications
NCT ID NCT07561684
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026
Summary
This study looks at a new CT measurement called the URSL Predictive Angle to see if it can predict when a planned ureteroscopy for kidney stones might need to be changed to open surgery. Researchers will review medical records of 2,200 patients from multiple hospitals who had ureteroscopy between 2018 and 2025. The goal is to help doctors better plan surgeries and reduce risks for patients.
