Summary

This study looks at whether a urine test can quickly detect pancreatitis after pancreas removal surgery. About 50 adults having elective pancreatectomy will provide urine samples before, during, and after surgery. The results will be compared with standard blood tests to see if the urine dipstick is a reliable early warning tool.
