NCT ID NCT00071526

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study aims to find out if people with diabetes lose more vitamin C in their urine than those without diabetes, which could explain why diabetics often have lower vitamin C levels. Researchers will measure vitamin C in blood and urine from 5,000 adults aged 18-65, both with and without diabetes. The goal is to understand the body's handling of vitamin C and look for genetic factors that might affect it.
