First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether rinsing the urethral stent with salt water after hypospadias surgery can prevent wound infections in teenage boys. About 150 adolescents will be randomly assigned to get either the rinse plus standard drainage or drainage alone. The goal is to see if this simple step lowers complication rates and improves recovery.
