Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app called UnityPhilly can help bystanders quickly respond to opioid overdoses with naloxone. About 450 adults who live or work in three Philadelphia neighborhoods will use the app and receive training. Researchers will track how many overdoses are signaled through the app and how many are successfully reversed over time.
