Scientists create fluid bank to unlock secrets of lung disease

This study collects pleural fluid (fluid around the lungs) and medical information from patients with known or suspected lung cancer or lung infections. The goal is to build a registry of samples that researchers can use to develop better tests and treatments in the future. Participants must be 18 or older and undergoing a standard drainage procedure.
