Sound waves reveal hidden healing after tooth implants
NCT ID NCT05330702
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aimed to see if ultrasound could detect early changes in bone and gum after a tooth is pulled and an implant is placed right away. Some people also got a soft tissue graft to improve healing. The study was stopped early, but it planned to follow 31 adults for 6 months to see how well the implant survived and how the tissues changed.
