First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jul 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a noninvasive ultrasound device can reduce pain in people with fibromyalgia. 180 adults will receive either real or sham ultrasound to a brain area linked to pain, over four sessions in one month. Researchers will track pain scores and symptom impact for 16 weeks to see if the treatment works.
