Scientists zap healthy brains with ultrasound to see how it changes thinking
NCT ID NCT07389447
Summary
This study aims to understand how applying focused ultrasound to a specific part of the brain (the cerebellum) affects brain activity and thinking skills in healthy volunteers. Researchers will compare real ultrasound to a fake (sham) treatment while participants do memory and thinking games. The goal is to gather basic knowledge, not to treat any medical condition.
