Scientists track diabetes in youth to uncover early clues
NCT ID NCT00445627
Summary
This study aimed to learn more about how type 2 diabetes develops in children, teenagers, and young adults. Researchers observed 82 young people, some with diabetes and some without, to compare their health. They measured things like how the body makes insulin, body fat, heart health, and feelings about living with diabetes, but did not test a new treatment.
