Summary
This completed trial tested a new automated insulin delivery system called twiist in 307 adults with insulin-treated type 2 diabetes. The system combines an insulin pump, a continuous glucose monitor, and a smart algorithm to automatically adjust insulin. The main goal was to see if it improves blood sugar control (HbA1c) compared to the participants' usual insulin therapy.
