New turkish tool to measure knee recovery after ACL surgery
NCT ID NCT06571240
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to adapt the Tegner Activity Score, a common tool for measuring physical activity levels, into Turkish for patients with knee injuries. Researchers will enroll 69 adults undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery. They will check if the Turkish version is valid and reliable, and find its minimal important difference and substantial clinical benefit values.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a reliable Turkish-language tool to measure activity levels after knee injuries, helping doctors and patients track recovery.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study with only 69 participants, so results may not apply to all Turkish patients. It does not test a new treatment or cure.
