NCT ID NCT05523843
First seen Aug 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
Researchers are testing a web-based tool called the Tulsa Life Chart that helps patients visually map their life history, from mood and relationships to medical conditions and substance exposure. The study includes people seeking mental health treatment and their healthcare providers. The goal is to see if the tool is easy to use and useful in a clinical setting.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Tulsa Life Chart (TLC), a self-administered web-based assessment that visually maps a patient's life history from birth to current age.
- What this could lead to
- If the tool proves usable and useful, it could give mental health providers a clearer picture of a patient's life experiences, potentially improving treatment planning.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small pilot study focused on usability, not on treatment outcomes. The tool may not be practical in routine care or may not improve patient care.
