New catheter may sharpen liver cancer radiation targeting

Summary

This study tests whether a special catheter (TriNav) helps doctors better match the test dose with the actual treatment dose during liver cancer radioembolization. About 19 adults with liver tumors that cannot be removed by surgery will take part. The goal is to see if the new catheter improves treatment planning accuracy compared to the standard one.
