New heart valve implant offers hope for patients too sick for surgery
NCT ID NCT07334691
Summary
This study is testing a new device called the Cardiovalve system to treat severe tricuspid regurgitation, a serious heart valve leak. The device is delivered through a vein in the leg to replace the leaky valve without open-heart surgery. Researchers aim to show the device is safe and effective for 150 patients who are too high-risk for traditional surgery.
