New drug combo aims to shrink Hard-to-Treat breast tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests a drug called trastuzumab deruxtecan, which delivers chemotherapy directly to cancer cells with low HER2 levels, alone or with anastrozole (a hormone blocker). About 88 people with early-stage, hormone receptor positive breast cancer will receive treatment before surgery. The goal is to see if the cancer disappears completely by the time of surgery.
