Summary
This study looked at whether a special primary care program (Transitions Clinic Network) helps people recently released from jail stay in treatment for opioid addiction. About 400 adults with opioid addiction were randomly assigned to either standard primary care or the special program. Researchers tracked how many stayed in addiction treatment and used opioids over a year.
