First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether training general practitioners in a patient-centered approach helps patients make more informed decisions about colorectal cancer screening. About 400 patients aged 50 to 74 will take part, and researchers will compare how well doctors and patients share the decision-making process between trained and untrained doctors. The goal is to see if this training leads to better communication and possibly higher screening rates.
